Your Role: SUSHISAMBA® and Duck & Waffle are extremely busy, fast-paced fine-dining operations, offering superior cuisine and dining experiences to our guests. The Maintenance Supervisor at SUSHISAMBA® and Duck & Waffle is an important role for the operation of our two restaurants and shared services areas.

Your Requirements: As a maintenance supervisor, your job will require you to:

  • Assist the Head of Facilities to help ensure the day-to-day maintenance of our restaurants is maintained
  • Respond to engineering and maintenance concerns
  • Perform and/or monitor reactive maintenance, planned works and PPM
  • Respond to all building-related safety concerns
  • Maintain departmental compliance with company maintenance procedures
  • Support company departmental maintenance programs and execute daily, weekly and monthly checklists
  • Assist in the supervision of temporary maintenance contractors
  • Assist management in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations
  • Maintain all areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained site
  • Must possess knowledge of basic hand/power tool operation

We would love you to have had:

  • Previous restaurant or hotel maintenance supervisor experience
  • At least 2-3 years experience in a similar capacity
  • An understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry concepts
  • Availability to respond to emergencies when not physically at the job site
