About the Restaurant

『TONARI THE NEIGHBOUR HATANO YOSHIKI』 is the London branch of a sushi restaurant awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand for four consecutive years in Tokyo.

Located in Mercato Mayfair, we offer Edo-style tachigui (standing) sushi.

Wage

Hourly wage of £12.21 plus tips.

Probationary Period

Minimum 3 Months.

Requirements

• Available to work 3–5 days/week, at least 6 hours per shift
• Availability for 20–40 hours per week required
• Able to work long‑term (1 year or more)
• Immediate start preferred
• Restaurant service experience*Required

Working Hours

• Shift-based between 9:30am – 10:45pm (9:30am – 9:45pm on Sundays only)
• Shifts are arranged every week – flexible scheduling!
• Breaks included
• Part‑time welcome
• Available to work 6‑hour shifts
• Available to work multiple jobs
• Evening‑to‑late shifts and available to work weekends especially welcome

Job Description & Ideal Candidate

Sushi chef trainee / floor staff. You will be responsible for customer service and takeaway sushi preparation. Knowledge of sake and wine is a big plus! We are looking for people who:
