The Maintenance Supervisor at SUSHISAMBA® and Duck & Waffle is an important role for the operation of our two restaurants and shared services areas.

Your Requirements:

As a maintenance supervisor your job will require you to

  • Assist the Head of Facilities to help ensure the day to day maintenance of our restaurants is maintained
  • Responds to engineering and maintenance concerns
  • Performs and/or monitors reactive maintenance, planned works and PPM
  • Responds to all building related safety concerns
  • Maintains departmental compliance with company maintenance procedures
  • Supports company departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
  • Assists in the supervision of temporary maintenance contractors
  • Assist management in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations
  • Maintain all areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained site
  • Must possess knowledgeable of basic hand/power tool operation

We would love you to have had:

  • Previous restaurant or hotel maintenance supervisor experience
  • At least 2/3 years experience in a similar capacity
  • Should have an understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry concepts
  • Must be available to respond to emergencies when not physically at the job site
