We are seeking a skilled Electrical Foreman with strong commercial electrical experience to lead and manage a team of electricians on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate brings hands-on technical expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of electricians on commercial construction and renovation projects.
- Review project plans, blueprints, and schematics to coordinate daily assignments for electricians and apprentices.
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for commercial electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to communicate progress, resolve issues, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage for commercial projects.
- Train and mentor electricians and apprentices, promoting skill development, safety awareness, and knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
- Monitor job site conditions and enforce proper safety protocols.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to commercial specifications.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating subcontractors and materials as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
- 5+ years of field electrical experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role, including commercial construction experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience reading and interpreting commercial blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with project documentation, time tracking, and basic computer applications.
