Thatcher’s Hotel is a charming Tudor style property set in the heart of the glorious Surrey countryside. With 87 newly refurbished rooms and multiple event and conference spaces, Thatchers is a stunning property to work within.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Sous Chef with a true passion for great food with a clear focus on presentation and quality service, able to inspire and lead the brigade.
Responsibilities- Create, prepare, cook and present dishes – running your section, leading section(s) and coordinating service with colleagues.
- Mindful of wastage, portions and time efficiencies and working with all departments to ensure smooth service.
- Support the Head Chef to lead and mentor less‑experienced colleagues, working as a team to deliver great food to guests in a timely manner.
- Be flexible to cook and serve in any section to ensure smooth service – great food, every time.
- Follow Food Safety, Health & Hygiene regulations at all times, including compliance checks and keeping the section clean.
- Passionate about food, fantastic ingredients and mouth‑watering taste combinations.
- Determined to deliver the best results, regardless of pressure.
