We're looking for a Restaurant & Bar Team Leader to lead, motivate and support the team..

At The Mill Hotel, history and modernity meet here, with soothing, contemporary interiors throughout the hotel and its 62 rooms, complementing the mill’s original features, among them the waterwheel itself – an atmospheric centerpiece in the restaurant and relaxing bar.

  • To be a successful Restaurant & Bar Team Leader you will need;
  • Proven experience working within a Food & Beverage team; previous leadership experience is advantageous
  • A passion for driving and improving standards across all food and beverage areas, with strong attention to detail
  • Commitment to delivering best‑in‑class guest experiences with warmth and personality
  • Ability to lead, inspire, train, and motivate a team while maintaining high standards in a fair and consistent manner
  • Lead service from the front, including taking guest orders, serving food and drinks, processing payments, and delivering excellent customer service
  • Ensure all site service standards are met and lead the team to do the same, creating a great guest experience
  • Strong knowledge of serving coffee, alcohol, and wine in both bar and restaurant environments
  • Responsibility for opening and closing shifts, including cash ups and end‑of‑day sign‑offs
