Situated in a prime town-centre location, The Duke’s Head is a historic hotel in the heart of King’s Lynn, where period charm meets contemporary style. The property features 80 spacious guest rooms, alongside an much loved restaurant, lounge, and vibrant bar.
Key Responsibilities as our Commis Chef:
- Prepare and cook ongredients.
- Assist with food preparation and service during busy periods.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and COSHH procedures.
- Support stock rotation and help minimise food waste.
- Work collaboratively as part of a busy kitchen team.
What We're Looking For in our Commis Chef:
- A passion for food and hospitality.
- Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- A positive attitude and team-focused approach.
