Situated in a prime town-centre location, The Duke's Head Hotel is a historic hotel in the heart of King's Lynn, where period charm meets contemporary style. The property features 80 spacious guest rooms, alongside a much-loved restaurant, lounge and vibrant bar. Christmas is one of our busiest and most exciting times of the year, making this the perfect opportunity to join our team.
As part of our Restaurant & Bar Team, you'll help create memorable festive experiences for our guests by:
- Providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Taking food and drink orders and serving guests efficiently.
- Assisting with Christmas parties, festive lunches, dinners and special events.
- Preparing and serving drinks, including wines, beers, spirits and cocktails.
- Processing payments and maintaining excellent guest service throughout.
- Helping to set up and clear down event spaces.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
We're Looking For Restaurant & Bar TeamWho:
- Have a positive, enthusiastic and can-do attitude.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Are confident interacting with guests and providing exceptional service.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Are reliable, punctual and flexible.
- Are available to work evenings, weekends and throughout the festive period.
Have previous hospitality experience (preferred but not essential).
To meet the requirements of this role, candidates must be aged 18 or above.

Contract Information
This is a temporary Christmas cover position to support the hotel during the festive season. Contracts will run throughout the Christmas period and are expected to end in January 2027. There is no guarantee of permanent employment; however, opportunities may arise for exceptional performers.
