We’re looking for a
Restaurant and Bar Team Member that bring energy, curiosity and a can‑do spirit. Someone who loves the buzz of service and the joy of making someone’s day.
Situated in a prime town-centre location, The Duke’s Head is a historic hotel in the heart of King's Lynn, where period charm meets contemporary style.
The property features 80 spacious guest rooms, alongside an much loved restaurant, lounge, and vibrant bar.
- How you'll bring the magic to the floor as our Restaurant and Bar Team Member:
- Has a positive, can‑do attitude towards customers and other team.
- A genuine enthusiasm for learning about all things food and drink — including spirits, wines, cocktails, and delivering the “perfect serve”.
- A willingness to understand different food styles and service standards, learn the menus, and confidently explain dishes to customers.
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interacting with guests in a lively, fast‑paced environment.
- The ability to deliver great service — taking orders, serving food and drink, processing payments, and ensuring every guest has an excellent experience.
- Commitment to meeting site service standards and working effectively as part of the team.
- A developing or good understanding of preparing coffees and serving alcohol and wine in both bar and restaurant settings.
- Availability to work opening and closing shifts, including weekends and bank holidays on a pro‑rata basis.
- A willingness to continue your development through in‑house and external training sessions.
