It is a very busy time at Surya Hotels; we’re a fast-growing collection of 14 hotels and pubs throughout East Anglia, Hertfordshire and Surrey.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team in a Junior Management Accountant role, focussed on our parent Group (Flying Trade Group) finances.
Responsibilities- Raising Invoices for Residential and Commercial tenants
- Allocating rental payments
- Recharging and accounting for split property charges
- Preparing Property accounts
- Reconciliation of Debtors
- Preparing Rental schedules
- Preparing Cash Flow forecasts
- Intercompany Reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- AAT at Level 3 minimum, or equivalent experience - Level 4 advantageous
- Detailed accounting experience in finance team of a commercial organisation
- Calm, methodical working manner
- Numerical Dexterity, with ability to interpret and communicate this with stakeholders of all levels
- Enthusiasm to continue learning
- Experience with multi site, multi properties or charity is advantageous
