We are seeking a capable and reliable Outdoor Instructor (Wilderness Guide) to support and co-facilitate delivery of our Home Education Programme two days per week during term time. You will work alongside a Lead Instructor to deliver high quality woodland sessions for mixed-aged home-educated groups. This is a developmental role with real responsibility, ideal for someone building their instructional career or looking to deepen their experience in outdoor education. For the right person there is potential for additional paid hours across other Survive & Revive programming, including alternative education and specialist survival courses and events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate and co-facilitate structured and flexible outdoor learning
- Support social development and group cohesion
- Create a safe and inclusive woodland environment
- Contribute to programme development and session planning
- Uphold safeguarding and safety procedures at all times
- Model calm and professional outdoor leadership
- Support session setup, teardown, kit management and site organisation
This role is a hands-on physically active role in all seasons and weather conditions.

- Outdoor / Paediatric First Aid Trained
- Safeguarding Experience
- Experience with neurodiversity and dealing with challenging behaviour
- Youthwork experience
