About the Role
As a Service Technician, you’ll play a vital part in keeping marine and offshore operations safe by servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of survival equipment – including lifeboats, liferafts, and critical safety systems. You’ll enjoy diverse work, travel opportunities, and the chance to work with industry-leading equipment and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out inspections, maintenance, servicing and repairs on lifeboats, liferafts, fire safety systems and other essential survival equipment.
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
- Transport, install and return serviced equipment to customer sites and vessels.
- Deliver excellent customer service and technical support on-site.
- Travel for training, service work and offshore assignments, sometimes at short notice.
- Keep tools, equipment and vehicles well-maintained and compliant.
- Work safely and in line with Survitec policies, procedures and industry standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience servicing or maintaining marine safety or survival equipment such as lifeboats, liferafts, or safety systems.
- Good understanding of inspection, reporting and compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid passport and full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
