Join our innovative team as an Offshore Service Technician, where you will play a crucial role in servicing lifeboats and essential lifesaving equipment. This exciting position involves travel to various locations throughout the UK and globally and internationally, providing a dynamic work environment and the chance to experience new settings.
If you have experience with lifesaving equipment – such as lifejackets, lifeboats, or onboard marine vessels – this is the perfect opportunity for you. Work schedules vary based on operational needs, with offshore assignments ranging from 2 to 22 days.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of lifesaving equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, diagnosing emergency repair needs for equipment and systems.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders during workshop and offshore activities.
Provide suggestions to enhance products and processes.
Achieve daily workload targets to ensure efficient operations.
Prepare and submit detailed inspection and testing reports to the administration team.

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
Proven experience in mechanical roles.
High school education or equivalent.
Valid driver\’s license.
Willingness to travel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Current Rope Access qualification or willingness to obtain it.
Previous offshore training is preferred, although comprehensive training will be provided.
Prior experience in lifeboat servicing is a plus.
