The Role:
Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Credit and Collections Associate to join our Credit and Collections Team based in Dunmurry as an apprentice.

Your New Role
Are you currently studying at a Further Education college and currently studying a level 2 or 3 course? Are you interested in earning while you’re learning. Not only is this an opportunity to get a step closer to qualifying, but this will give you first hand experience of working in a fast-paced finance team who work on a global scale.

We are looking for driven individuals with a can-do, intellectually curious attitude to join our Purchase to Pay Apprenticeship Programme!
This role reports to the Credit and Collections Team Lead. It is focused on locating and notifying customers of delinquent accounts; receiving payment and ensuring accurate application of payments to customer accounts; preparing statements and records of account and escalating failure to pay
What You Can Expect from the Role
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Perform credit checks and accurately record outcomes
- Follow up on overdue accounts and contact customers to arrange payments
- Resolve customer invoice disputes to ensure timely, full payments
- Communicate with customers about account issues and payment options
- Record and update account and collection activity using internal systems
- Manage correspondence and maintain accurate records
- Organise your own workload to meet performance targets and SLAs
- Take part in training and development to build your skills and knowledge
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and values-driven team culture
- Support a safety-first working environment in line with Survitec values
The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
- Currently studying a level 2 or 3 course, Finance or Business related at a Further Education College,
Criteria:
- Basic knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes but not essential
- A keen interest in Finance / Shared Services and a desire to learn
- Strong attention to detail and problem – solving skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
