The Role: Key responsibilities for the Assistant Accountant role include but are not limited to:
- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Completing weekly Bank Reconciliations and assisting with cashflow forecasts
- Maintain financial controls and ensure accurate records
- Prepare statutory accounts and management reports
- Respond to accounting queries and support system users
- Conduct financial checks and help resolve compliance issues
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safety-first workplace culture
- Continuously develop skills and stay current with industry standards

About You: Essential criteria:
- Educated to university degree level, or vocational equivalent
- Work experience within a financial setting, supporting with day-to-day financial activities, regulatory financial requirements and supporting internal and external customers
- Familiarity with relevant office and accounting packages
