We are seeking a talented Integration Developer to join our team and help us build seamless and efficient integrations within a changing technical landscape. You will have a variety of application and integration systems knowledge, with proven success in designing and implementing integrations. Integration Developer responsibilities include gathering and analysing system requirements, designing integration strategies, developing software applications, and ensuring that all components work seamlessly for business execution.
Our ideal candidates are familiar with data integration tools and the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. Ultimately, the role of the Integration Developer is to build high-quality, innovative, and fully integrated software systems that meet our business needs.
The Information Technology family provides, maintains, optimises, and expands the business systems needed to support business operation, communication, data collection and management, decision making and management of customer relationships. It innovates and digitally transforms business process. It safeguards our business, customer, and personal data.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Design, build and test integrations to ensure smooth data flow and system interoperability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Support & troubleshoot the corporate integration fabric and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain and enhance existing integrations to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Document integrations and solutions for future reference.
- Handling data mapping, code debugging and system troubleshooting.
- Monitoring integrated systems to ensure they remain functional and updated.
- Staying current and knowledgeable on emerging technologies.
- Training team members on integration tools and methodologies.
The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in integration development.
- Proficiency in designing, developing, building, and testing integrations.
- Experience with APIs REST and SOAP.
- Ability to document requirements and specifications.
- Strong communicator, with excellent logic and analytical skills.
- A self-starter who is motivated and can work independently when required.
- Comfortable working at all levels in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Criteria:
- Work related experience in a similar role.
- Experience with integration tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, or Jitterbit.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices.
- Plans and prioritises work to meet commitments aligned with organisational goals.
- Modelling and methodologies with BPMN, business process mapping.
- Experience of software such as Visio, Loop, Teams, Azure DevOps, Microsoft ERP, Salesforce, IFS, Cornerstone, INFOR, Snowflake and PowerBI.
