As a Fire Service Technician, you’ll play a vital role in protecting lives - inspecting, servicing, and repairing fire safety equipment and breathing apparatus across vessels and offshore environments. This is a hands-on role offering variety, travel opportunities, and genuine scope for professional growth.
Key responsibilities for the Fire Service Technician role include but are not limited to:
- Carry out preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Service & repair extinguishers, hydrants, hose reels, fire blankets, fire detection systems, and breathing apparatus
- Manage testing, shutdowns, and urgent repairs when required
- Safely transport, install, and return customer equipment
- Keep accurate compliance records and documentation
- Provide expert technical advice and customer support
- Travel for training, offshore service, and urgent projects

- Proven experience servicing fire safety equipment and breathing apparatus (marine or offshore)
- Strong skills in inspections, testing, and compliance reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- A valid, full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to travel at short notice, including offshore work
