Reporting into our Master Schedule Manager now has an exciting opportunity for you to come on board as our brand-new Production Planner at our Ellesmere Port site.
You as our Production Planner will utilise demand information to produce accurate and timely bill of materials information to support local production. You will be producing statistical forecast data to continuously improve materials management processes and support maintenance of optimum inventory.
What You Can Expect From The Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Produce effective bill of materials information to support production planning and procurement processes
- Collate and analyse data on differences between automated bill of materials results and production requirements
- Work with the materials management teams to ensure any spikes or anomalies in requirements are identified, planned, and managed effectively
- Develop weekly and monthly production plans for the site to enable effective inventory management and resource allocation
- Communicate the local operational action plan
- Identify shortcomings in existing production planning processes, systems, and procedures
Essential Criteria
The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
- You will have operations planning experience
- Educated to High School/Further Education college level with 2 A Levels or equivalent
- Full Drivers Licence
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work on your own as well as part of team
- 33 days of holiday entitlement
