Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Shared Service Team based in Grange House, Dunmurry, N. Ireland on a Fixed Term Basis.

Key responsibilities for the Assistant Accountant role include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Completing weekly Bank Reconciliations and assisting with cashflow forecasts
  • Maintain financial controls and ensure accurate records
  • Prepare statutory accounts and management reports
  • Respond to accounting queries and support system users
  • Conduct financial checks and help resolve compliance issues
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and safety-first workplace culture
  • Continuously develop skills and stay current with industry standards

About You:

Essential criteria:

  • Educated to university degree level, or vocational equivalent
  • 6 - 12 months of under‑graduate work experience, where course structure supports this
  • No formal management experience required, as this is a developmental role
