The Apprentice Operational Administrator will provide administrative support to the Operations Team to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day operations. The role involves updating the daily work schedule and administrative processes, maintaining accurate records, providing holiday coverage for Statutory Undertaker Information provision, and communicating professionally with internal and external stakeholders. The apprentice will undertake the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship at Suffolk New College, combining workplace learning with off-the-job training to develop essential business and administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the Operations Team
- Manage the Field Service, in-house operations scheduling system, ensuring it is updated daily
- Assist with answering incoming calls through the telephone system and ensuring enquiries are handled or directed appropriately
- Support the production of Operations reports and associated documentation
- Assist in maintaining documentation required for ISO compliance
- Provide administrative support for site facilities as required
- Liaise professionally with internal colleagues and external contacts
- Support in collating Statutory Undertaker Information Record packs
- Help produce project packs and RAMS
