The Role

Account Director/Senior Account Director – responsible for driving revenue growth by selling Dynata’s market research solutions to new and existing clients. The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in market research, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to cultivate and maintain high‑level client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering strong and enduring partnerships.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to align with client goals and business objectives.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively offer tailored solutions that leverage Dynata’s product offerings.
  • Drive growth and profitability across a portfolio of accounts by identifying and pursuing upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals, negotiate contracts, and close high‑value deals.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver best‑in‑class data and insight solutions.
  • Mentor junior account managers and support their professional development.
  • Act as a thought leader within the organization, contributing to strategic initiatives and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure the highest level of client satisfaction by overseeing project delivery, addressing escalations, and continuously improving processes.

Essential Skills

  • Exceptional client relationship management skills with a consultative, solutions‑oriented approach.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or account management within market research or data solutions (mandatory).
  • Expertise in B2B and B2C insights, data analytics, or technology‑enabled solutions.

  • High level of commercial awareness – identifying opportunities, tailoring solutions, and negotiating and closing sales.
