This is a telephone-based sales role where your main focus will be speaking with prospective clients, understanding their property and survey requirements, recommending the right service and converting enquiries into booked instructions for our surveying team.
It would suit someone with around 1–3 years’ experience within the property industry, perhaps a Negotiator, someone from a head office support function or in another customer-facing property role, who enjoys speaking to people, building relationships and working towards sales targets.
You’ll be handling a high volume of inbound enquiries alongside following up opportunities by phone, preparing quotations and guiding clients through the booking process from their first conversation through to confirming their survey. You’ll also build strong relationships with existing and potential referral partners, helping to generate repeat instructions and support the continued growth of the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Handling inbound sales enquiries primarily by telephone
- Speaking with clients about their property and survey requirements
- Advising clients on the most suitable surveying service
- Preparing and following up quotations
- Converting enquiries into booked survey instructions
- Coordinating survey bookings with our surveying team
- Following up leads and previous enquiries
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and referral partners
- Working towards individual and team sales targets
- Delivering a professional and personable customer experience throughout
What we’re looking for:
- 1 -3 years’ experience within the property industry
- Previous sales or telephone based experience
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Comfortable following up leads and asking for the business
- Commercially minded with a drive to achieve targets
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple enquiries
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast paced office environment
- Knowledge of surveys or surveying services is advantageous, but not essential
This is a great opportunity for someone who already understands the property industry but wants to move into a role with a stronger sales focus and genuine progression opportunities. You’ll be joining a growing business where your performance can directly influence your earning potential through commission and your future progression within the company.
