We are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to take on the role of Trainee Surveyor based in and around Portsmouth. As a Trainee Surveyor you will be a crucial part of a team, supporting and learning from the lead surveyor in various drainage surveys across Portsmouth and Hampshire. No experience is necessary as full training and certificates will be provided!

Responsibilities of a Trainee Surveyor:

  • Maintain good communication between yourself and the lead surveyor.
  • Engage confidently with members of the public.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards throughout the working day.
  • Provide the lead surveyor any physical support, for example, lifting manhole covers.
  • Manage and prioritise workload efficiently.

Requirements for the role:

  • A full UK driving license.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A hands-on and methodical approach to working.
  • A willingness to work outdoors.
  • A CSCS card is desirable, but not necessary as full training and courses will be provided.
