Business Intelligence Manager | Data | Publishing | Bath | Hybrid | Permanent We're working with global leader in specialist media, working across 200+ media brands.

They are a data‐driven digital publishing business operating at scale across advertising, commerce, and content platforms, looking to hire a hands‐on BI Manager to partner closely with commercial and revenue teams.

You'll act as the primary BI partner to commercial teams, helping translate complex business problems into scalable, cloud‐based analytics solutions.

Full time permanent role Hybrid role (3 days per week on‐site in Bath)Salary - up to 75,000, depending on experience Unlimited Holidays +additional benefits Key responsibilities include: Owning hands‐on delivery of BI and analytics solutions, including SQL‐driven pipelines and data models Partnering with commercial stakeholders (e. g. digital advertising, monetisation, revenue teams) to define problems and co‐create the analytics roadmap Working in a Google‐centric cloud environment, with a modern data stack Delivering and supporting large analytics or data initiatives, balancing technical delivery with stakeholder expectations Mentoring analysts and fostering a self‐serve, solution‐oriented analytics culture What We're Looking For We're particularly interested in candidates who bring a mix of strong technical capability and commercial understanding.

Advanced SQL skills (this is a must)Experience working in a cloud data environment (Big Query preferred)Experience managing data transformations in Dataform, and architecting data models in Looker Background in digital commerce, digital advertising, ad‐tech, media, or marketplace platforms Experience delivering large data or analytics projects Someone who helps shape solutions rather than waiting for instructions Bonus points for familiarity with: Digital advertising or monetisation concepts (e. g. programmatic ads, revenue pipelines, inventory, commercial performance)Modern BI tools (such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau)Data modelling tools (e. g. dbt, Dataform, or equivalent)If you enjoy the following, Staying hands‐on while also guiding others Working close to commercial problems rather than purely technical ones Helping shape data strategy and roadmaps, not just delivering dashboards... then this could be the perfect role for you.
