About the Client

Our client are a family run FMCG organisation who have been trading for over 30 years and as a company have grown from strength to strength. There are now looking to hire a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Your Role

As a Lead Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the following.

  • Leading and Managing a Team of 2/3 maintenance technicians
  • Training and mentoring your team
  • Overseeing and conducting PPMs and Reactive Maintenance
  • Attending breakdowns
  • Electrical & Mechanical fault finding on PLCs, Motors, Production lines and control panels, conveyors
  • Have the opportunity to get involved in ongoing site projects & continuous improvement
  • Getting involved with H&S protocols and making changes where required

Candidate Requirements

  • Apprenticeship qualified, equivalent or qualified by experience
  • Proven track record working as a Senior / Lead Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record with high speed processing machinery
  • Proven track record with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding, Electrical Fault finding, Control Panels
  • Flexible and open to working weekends when required
  • Electrically Biased (Desirable)
  • PLC Fault Finding (Desirable)
  • Welding & Fabrication (Desirable)
