Shift Pattern: 3pm - 12am, Mon-Fri, and 2 Saturdays each month
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be hands-on with fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance across manual handling equipment, conveyors, and high-speed processing machinery. You will keep all plant and production equipment running to OEM standards, follow PPM schedules, and carry out essential safety inspections in line with group policy. Every day, you will work safely, uphold QHSE standards, and report hazards to maintain a secure working environment.
Responsibilities
- Fully diagnose faults, repair and maintain manual handling equipment, conveyors, and high-speed processing machinery.
- Maintain plant and production equipment to OEM standards, follow preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules, carry out safety inspections, and report hazards to uphold a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Mechanical Engineering qualification
- Experience with conveyors, belts, motors, diesel engines, gearboxes, braking systems, generators, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding/fabrication
- Solid toolkit and adaptable, proactive mindset; able to perform under pressure and communicate clearly within a team
