About the Role

This role will support the development and delivery of the Community Safety Partnership Plan and initiatives to address crime, local anti-social behaviour issues (ASB) and hate-related incidents, ensuring a multi-agency response. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, use a coordinated and proactive approach to investigate and prevent or reduce anti-social behaviour and disorder in line with current legislation. The role requires knowledge of multi-agency collaborations between internal and external agencies, local businesses and the voluntary sector to minimise risk and safeguard all victims, improving the quality of life for residents and businesses across Surrey Heath.

About You

  • Thorough knowledge and operational understanding of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and statutory guidance frameworks.
  • Experience in creating, researching and presenting policies, forward plans, executive reports, budget management and applications for legal proceedings.
  • Competent to identify any risk and safeguarding issues relating to this role.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, colleagues, elected members and the public.
  • Own transport and a full UK driving licence.
