This contract role sits inside IR35. Duration 6 monthsSummaryWe are seeking a skilled SAP Data Migration Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in S4 Hana Greenfield data migration and multi LOBs such as Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing and Projects.This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong ability to work independently while supporting the team, and effective communications skills for collaboration with Business Users. Key Tasks
- Lead Data Migration activities for the functional areas appointed to.
- Support the team by mentoring less experienced members and providing guidance throughout the migration process
- Ensure Data accuracy and consistency by performing pre load and post load prior to passing onto the business for validation and sign off.
- Collaborate closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Manage and meet tight deadlines ensuring timely delivery of data migration tasks within the project timelines
- Document migration processes, methodologies and best practises for future reference and compliance.
- Conduct data validation and reconciliation activities post migration to confirm data integrity.
- Resolve assigned defects within each load cycle.
Previous Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAP Data Migration in S4 Hana Public Cloud.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work
- Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with Business Users and conveying technical information effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address data migration challenges
- Experience working within agile project environments
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
- Experience with Success Factor migration.
