This role is an exciting opportunity for a professional to develop and deliver SAP Identity Management solutions within SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud to protect SAP systems and data by establishing policies, practices, and tools that prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or disruption.
This role will be responsible for the design and implementation of SAP Security Roles, Segregation of Duties Analysis Rules, Security Role Provisioning solutions, Security Workflow, and Business Process Controls.
Key Tasks- The ability to adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
- Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to IT and SAP Identity Management goals.
- Uses considerable judgment to determine solutions and seeks peer and manager inputs on complex problems.
- Primary upward interaction is with the direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels within the organisation.
- Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with a consultative approach.
- Directly working with peers, business stakeholders, and Product Analysts by helping refine the requirements and translating them into Security and Authorisation functional and technical designs.
- Responsible for being an active contributor in the Applications team, supporting the application, resolving incidents/problems, reducing technical debt, and developing new features to help enable the business through ERP.
- Understand and document requirements as they relate to different areas within the business.
- Configure and document security and associated solutions in SAP S/4 HANA Cloud to meet already documented client security requirements.
- Demonstrate knowledge in some areas of Aerospace and Defence industry or functional specialty.
- Take ownership for implementations or rollouts and support from a Security & Authorisations Perspective.
- Contribute to project planning and verify that deliverables meet project and work plan objectives.
- Deliver services that meet Project and/or IT Management specifications.
- Recognise and communicate opportunities to make improvements based on the latest SAP technology releases in the SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud.
- Strong understanding of information security management principles, SAP application security implementation methodologies, role-based access controls, distributed systems administration, and distributed system recovery with the ability to conduct security assessments where required.
- Demonstrate experience in independently completing complex security-related tasks, making major contributions in assuring deliverables meet project and work plan objectives and taking on tasks of increased complexity.
- Ability to independently create written deliverables and participate in presentations.
- Ability to share knowledge and cross train others.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA, with a focus on implementation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience creating technical documentation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP Fiori and HANA DB security experience.
- At least 1 implementation of SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud or demonstrable knowledge of the product via verifiable completion of SAP courses or certification.
- Prior experience working in a consultant/advisory capacity.
- In-depth working knowledge of SAP S&A and impact on other modules.
- First degree or equivalent (minimum 10 years work experience).
- Knowledge of internal controls, with relation to SAP Security and SAP Access/Process Controls.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Desire to work in an environment fostering teamwork and camaraderie.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
The role is based in our Head Office in Guildford but we support hybrid working and a range of flexible working options.
