The Role & Key Responsibilities

Do you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy researching data to ensure accuracy?
Are you tenacious and get job satisfaction from ensuring important information is correct?
Are you able to think laterally and make connections between sets of information?
Data Quality is vital in our force to ensure we protect the public and our officers and bring offenders to justice. You will join a team who are responsible for ensuring information on our local and national crime systems is accurate and timely.
You will be required to work a three shift rotational system working 7.2 hours per day Mon-Fri based on hours between 0700 to 2000 plus one weekend in three, for which an allowance will be paid.

Skills & Experience

You should be educated to minimum Level 4 GCSE standard in Maths and English and have excellent computer skills.
A background in data analysis/data quality would be beneficial but a demonstrated interest in the subject and the ability to learn fast are key.
