About Surrey Park Women’s Clinic is a leading private fertility clinic delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a patient-centred environment. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Sonographer to join our multidisciplinary clinical team.
The role involves:
- Joining our busy, friendly women’s health clinic as an enthusiastic Specialist Sonographer.
- Having excellent communication skills, a flexible approach and attitude, commitment and passion to deliver and improve the service to women-centred care.
- Being part of a small team of sonographers who are well respected.
- Working alongside the clinical team as a member of the MDT, performing an ultrasound list that includes gynaecology pelvic and abdominal ultrasounds, fertility cycle monitoring, and pregnancy scanning from 6/40-36/40.
- Identifying areas for referral and writing full reports as well as arranging referrals where required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with clinic policies and HFEA guidance.
- Performing high-quality diagnostic and tracking scans.
- Performing obstetric and pelvic/gynae ultrasound scans.
- Advocating for patients and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well-stocked clinical environment.
- Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to ensure excellent patient care.
Experience required:
- Either a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Sonographer with equivalent qualifications.
- At least 2 years of scanning experience.
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
- Precise time management skills.
- Robust organisational skills.
- Ability to work under instruction and autonomously within scope of practice.
- Excellent administrative and record-keeping skills.
