Do you have good leadership skills? We are seeking an experienced caterer to lead our shifts in the kitchen at our busy outdoor High Ashurst centre in Dorking.
About the job:
- Starting at £27,634 per annum (based on a 36-hour week)
- Shifts are within the times of 7am to 8pm, some weekend work will be required.
The full-time position of kitchen lead/cook is a really varied position, requiring good organisational skills, sound catering knowledge and experience in a busy kitchen. You will lead the shift, prepare, cook, and serve to our guests who range from school children through to adult groups. Each day is different, so adaptability is key to meet the ranging needs of our groups: providing tasty and good quality food. From time to time, we deliver themed events which will bring your creative skills to life! Serving and cooking outdoors are all a part of these exciting events which add to the variety of this role. Other areas of responsibility include staff mentoring, ordering, menu planning and stock control.

- A holder of, or working towards Food Hygiene Level 3
- Experience of cooking for large groups

- High Ashurst and Henley Fort are in remote locations, please consider your transport arrangements.
