About the Role
This role is for a Corporate Contracts & Procurement Lawyer to work as part of a busy in‐house legal team. This role will be the Council's expert in contract and procurement law providing advice and drafting contracts and agreements. The primary area of law to be covered will be contracts and procurement law; however, this role will also cover property and litigation law to support other members of the team as necessary.
About You
You will be a qualified Solicitor / Cilex or on route to qualification. You will be hard working and self‐motivated. As the Council's expert in contracts and procurement law you will have good knowledge in this area and have the confidence to lead on contract work. You will also have some experience in property and litigation law and be willing to assist in these areas as needed.
