The predicted salary is between 28394 - 30647 £ per year.

The starting salary for this position is £28,394 per annum based on working 36 hours per week across 42 weeks per year, pro-rata to £30,647. The role is term-time, plus an additional 15 days per year.

Our innovative and supportive school-based Speech and Language Therapy service is looking for two full-time Senior Speech and Language Therapy Assistants to work in schools across South West and North West Surrey. You will have a base at our Victoria Gate office in Woking and work in schools. One role is within the South West team working in schools across Guildford and Waverley, and one role is within the North West team supporting schools within Woking, Surrey Heath and Runnymede. You can select which role you would like to be considered for during the application process.

About The Role

The School-Aged Speech and Language Therapy Service is part of Surrey County Council’s support for children with Additional Needs and Disabilities, working collaboratively in the Early Intervention and Prevention Service in Surrey’s Children, Families and Learning Directorate, with other teams including Educational Psychology and specialist teachers. We aim to deliver the right support at the right time, through assessment and intervention, and by equipping families and professionals with the skills and resources to work together to help and support children with SLCN. We offer universal, targeted and specialist support for children, families, and the school workforce, and work with children and young people with EHCPs (Education, Health).
