About The Role
We are recruiting for a Disability Senior Playworker to join our Disability team. You will be responsible for supporting with overseeing and delivering a program of activities to meet the needs of the children and young people who have a disability or additional needs. Also supporting with ensuring safeguarding and regulatory requirements are being met.
Responsibilities
- Supporting and delivering play activities.
- Overseeing programmes and ensuring compliance.
- Safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and skills
- Introduction to Safeguarding Children and Safeguarding Adults or willingness to undertake.
- Food Hygiene training or willingness to complete this.
- Child Care/Youth Work level 2 / 3 or equivalent qualification (or working towards).
- First Aid qualification or willingness to undertake this.
