Overview: Please note that this vacancy is not part of Surrey County Council; we are advertising this on behalf of a partnership organisation. The salary range for this role is £19,500 - £21,000 per annum based on a 33 hour working week, 39 weeks per year.
About The Organisation: We are an Ofsted-registered nursery run by dedicated, friendly and highly qualified staff, which is part of Oasis Charity Limited, a small, local charity that supports vulnerable families in Elmbridge. As an organisation, Oasis Charity responds quickly to crisis situations, providing holistic support to families and children over the long-term. We have broad outreach work offering a range of in-house services – spanning crisis support, counselling, emotional wellbeing courses, life coaching, emergency food banks and fuel bursaries, as well as legal surgeries – to help our families build their confidence, resilience and independence.
About The Role: To work as a member of the team under the direction of the senior members of the team to ensure that children attending the provision receive high quality care and access to exciting and stimulating learning opportunities in accordance with the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework.
Person Specification:
- Education, Training and Work Qualifications: Level 3 Childcare Qualification, Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene Level 2
Method of Assessment: Certificates
- Skills And Abilities: A good level of literacy and numeracy, good organisational skills, good interpersonal skills combined with the ability to work effectively within a team, ability to work, empathise and communicate effectively with all sections of the community.
