We have opportunities for customer focused individuals who want to work in a friendly and supportive environment as part of our outpatient booking team at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill. The role involves undertaking a variety of tasks relating to managing Cancer outpatient referrals and Cancer appointments including answering incoming calls and liaising with patients and stakeholders. Outpatient Booking Officers help fully utilise clinics and ensure that patients are booked in accordance within Cancer Waiting Times. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate diplomacy and empathy and be comfortable working in a busy office environment whilst maintaining accuracy.

Please note the shift pattern is applied as below:

  • Week 1: 07:45-15:45 (Monday - Friday)
  • Week 2: 11:00-19:00 (Monday - Friday)
  • Week 3: 07:45-15:45 (Monday - Saturday (rotational day off in the week))
  • Week 4: 11:00-19:00 (Monday - Friday)
