Job overview

We are looking for a part time Booking Coordinator to manage hospital appointments for a range of scans in our Diagnostic Imaging Department. This will primarily involve making and receiving calls to book appointments, however, office administration and providing a face to face reception service also form part of the role.

You will join a friendly team of around 30 people who provide a booking and administration service for patients. You will be required to work 1 weekend in 3 months on a rostered basis. You will also be required to work at East Surrey Hospital, Crawley Hospital, Horsham Hospital and Caterham Dene Hospital on a rotating basis, therefore a high degree of flexibility will be required. Travel costs will be reimbursed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hospital appointments for a range of scans in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
  • Make and receive calls to book appointments; provide office administration support and face-to-face reception service.
  • Work as part of a team in a booking and administration service for patients.
  • Be available to work across multiple hospital sites on a rotating basis (East Surrey Hospital, Crawley Hospital, Horsham Hospital, Caterham Dene Hospital).
  • Rostered weekend work (1 weekend in 3 months).
  • Travel costs will be reimbursed.
