Exciting opportunities are now available to join the Bexhill District Nursing Team. We have busy and varied caseloads, and you will be visiting housebound patients in their own home. You will be well supported in Practice to enable you to develop a large range of clinical knowledge and skills. Good communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team. You must be able to travel independently in a timely manner.
Service reconfiguration and additional investment has enabled:
- The development of new roles with extended skills and scope of practice.

Community care in East Sussex is now based around Primary Care Network (PCN) teams. These provide integrated multi-disciplinary services, supporting individualised patient care and the needs of the local population.

Deliver Nursing Care as part of a team. You will support the District Nurse in the delivery of an efficient/effective nursing service. You will have responsibility for assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care whilst working autonomously as a lone worker.
You must be able to travel throughout the locality in a timely manner, carrying equipment/staff with you. You must have access to a car and hold a current driving license. The Trust has partnered with NHS Fleet solutions to provide a cost effective way to lease a brand new car via salary sacrifice.
