Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the leading provider of health and social care services for people of all ages with mental ill-health and learning disabilities in Surrey and North East Hampshire. We also provide social care services for people with a learning disability in Croydon and ASD and ADHD assessment services in Hampshire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality medical care with support from consultant perinatal psychiatrists across the Perinatal Service.
  • Support the Perinatal Consultant Psychiatrists in clinical supervision to junior doctors that are working or training in the service and offering clinical advice and information as and when required to all staff.
  • Communicate effectively with midwives, general practitioners and other health professionals.
  • Participate in service evaluation and the planning of future service developments and ensure that cover is arranged for responsibilities during leave with consultant colleagues within the service and cross cover with other perinatal doctors.

Qualifications

  • Registered with the GMC with a licence to practice.
  • No sponsorship is offered.

  • NHS Specialty grade £61,542 – £99,216 per annum + £149 fringe pro rata for part time.
