Overview
We are a Chartered Certified firm in Walton on the Hill (near Tadworth), Surrey, seeking anaccountant with practice experience to join our growing team. The main focus of this role will be the preparation of personal tax returns and sole trader accounts.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of sole trader accounts, personal tax returns, CGT returns and partnership tax returns
- General small business and individual tax advice
- Occasional assistance in other areas e.g. statutory accounts, corporation tax returns
- Leading the transition to Making Tax Digital for Income Tax
Experience/qualifications
- Practice experience
- Experience of dealing with accounting and taxation matters for small businesses/individuals
- Experience of preparing personal tax returns for sole traders, landlords and individuals
