The Experience: You will have a minimum of 2 years PQE and be comfortable and confident with verbal and written communication. You enjoy attending the workplace to develop relationships with colleagues and clients but can work effectively from home from time to time. You will be familiar with Civil Procedure Rules and know the importance of deadlines, and how to prioritise your workload to make sure that these can be met more calmly and without avoidable pressures. You will understand fee earning targets, and the importance of meeting those targets. Where you have worked in private practice, you will have a track record of meeting targets.
The Role: You will be comfortable, with guidance, to analyse and progress matters in a variety of disputes in different legal areas: debt recovery, contract, property, insolvency, repossession, employment. You will work closely with the Head of Litigation, contributing to the team's ongoing growth. You will have the opportunity to work on complex, high-value matters, while developing your technical skills and commercial acumen in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will be sufficiently organised to manage a caseload on your own, but confident enough to seek guidance when needed. You will ensure all work meets regulatory standards and adheres to professional obligations. You will be conscious that everyone adds value to the business, and work with us to meet business, financial and personal objectives.
