The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on site, ensuring safe and timely project delivery. The role involves supervising subcontractors, managing site operations, and supporting the Project Manager in ensuring quality, safety, and compliance on projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise site activities and manage subcontractors and direct labor.
- Ensure work is completed to the required quality standards and on schedule.
- Monitor material deliveries and manage site logistics.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining project schedules.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure site activities comply with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Review and enforce RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) on-site.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.
- Support compliance with CDM regulations and company policies.
Communication & Reporting:
- Liaise with the Project Manager to report on project progress, issues, and variations.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and other stakeholders.
- Keep accurate site records and assist with monthly progress reports.
Support for Project Manager:
- Assist in organizing site inductions and managing site mobilization.
- Help with site administration, including record-keeping and document management.
- Contribute to the development of the Construction Phase Plan.
Requirements:
- HNC or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- 1+ experience in site supervision or construction roles (MEICA experience a plus).
- Familiarity with NEC contract conditions is advantageous.
Skills:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and basic IT systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel across NI.
- Basic knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes is beneficial.
Work Environment:
