Turning training needs into high performance manufacturing skills. As our Learning and Development Advisor, you will provide training service by identifying needs for training, creating training material and delivering training to meet the Company's needs. In our Training School department, you will support training delivery for IPC accreditation and technical training for employees, as well as identifying appropriate training requirements.
Responsibilities
- Identifying training requirements
- Implementation and maintenance of Learning Management System
- Supporting managers with developing their teams through career development plans and training
- Ensuring identified training requirements are delivered in the most appropriate way, to the required standard and within the required timescales
- Ensuring an effective induction and onboarding process for all new employees
- Ensuring all training records and administration are kept up to date
- Representing the Company in required audits
- Use of digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programmes
- Monitor how effectively learning has been transferred to employees
- Supporting with training delivery, including IPC or technical training, as and when required
- Supporting recruitment activities as and when required
- Supporting adhoc customer training as and when required
- Ensure workforce development solutions are aligned to critical business needs at a strategic and operational level to meet organisational, legislative and professional body requirements
Qualifications
The candidate must be driven to support the business with all training needs and develop solutions to enhance the relationships between the training department and employees. The ability to be able to problem solve and influence others at all levels.
Employment Details
This role is a full‑time, permanent contract and will be based at our site in Hook, Hampshire. Occasional travel to our site in Poynton, Cheshire will be required when training delivery is needed.
