We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team and support our head chefs at our Surf Club Restaurant in Marazion, and our food truck also based at The Surf Club. The position is currently for our summer season, on a 6 month contract, however there is possible scope for a full time position within the business. Responsibilities:

  • Support in our Beach side Surf Club Restaurant and Food Truck.
  • Support in food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes.
  • Monitor inventory levels.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items.
  • Ensure timely execution of all food orders.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Chef in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary trends.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Food Hygiene level 3 certificate.
