As the Assistant General Manager at Poolhouse, you’re the second-in-command and the driving force behind daily operations, team energy, and guest satisfaction.

You’ll lead by example on shift, solve problems as they arise, and bring out the best in your people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run the venue confidently when the GM is off-shift or off-site
  • Lead and support the Front Of House and kitchen teams during service
  • Handle operational challenges smoothly and calmly as they arise
  • Drive standards in cleanliness, safety, and guest experience
  • Manage and motivate large teams to deliver exceptional service
  • Train, coach, and develop junior managers and team members
  • Support rostering, stock control, and opening/closing duties
  • Maintain a visible, supportive presence on the floor
  • Handle guest feedback with confidence and care
  • Champion the Poolhouse culture, values, and brand every day
