Salary: £35,875 - £45,000 (with £45,000 being the average of OTE inc. callout)
Location: Wirral covering CH postcode areas
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 40
Working pattern: Monday to Friday with on-call requirements
Holiday entitlement: 20 + Bank Holidays (increases with service)
About The Role
Carry out high‑quality gas servicing, ensuring homes remain safe, compliant and fully supported. You’ll work independently across your designated area, delivering a professional service while representing our values and commitment to customer care.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Routine servicing of heating systems across housing association properties
- Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to residents
- Carry out compliance checks (e.g., gas safety, electrical testing, equipment inspections) in line with regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For
- Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
- Previous servicing experience across various boilers
- Valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity
- Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
