Purpose of the role:
Learn, assist and complete installations, exchanges, maintenance, and removal of gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes and businesses as per company requirements.
Salary:
Training salary of £28,000
Increase to £32,000 after completion of training and passing MOCoPA.
Once core KPI’s have been achieved, salary will increase to £39,140.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- To undertake training alongside a qualified Dual Fuel Engineer on site in all aspects of gas, electric, and renewable energy work.
- To carry out work, following instructions to the required standard and quality at various dwellings, corporate buildings, and construction projects.
- Demonstrate and promote a high standard of customer service to both the client and customer, keeping them informed of works being undertaken and fully demonstrating the meter after completion.
- To ensure full compliance with all safety procedures and requirements of statutory legislation.
- Report H&S issues encountered in line with company policy.
- To complete all required documentation accurately, on a regular basis and to specified deadlines.
- To work as a team member alongside other trades, colleagues, partners, and members of the public.
- To take accountability for the vehicle & tools/equipment in your possession. This will include a regular stock take of material and regular checks of the company van to ensure it is roadworthy.
- To record/report any defects of the equipment in your possession.
- To ensure the professional representation of the company is maintained at all times, being clean and well presented in company uniform and being polite and courteous at all times.
- To attend all training and toolbox talks as required/requested.

- An interest in the gas, electric, and renewable energy industry.
- Willingness to learn.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Clear focus on the customer, always acting in the best interest of the customer/company to ensure the experience is a positive one.
- Willingness to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in all weather conditions.
- To adapt quickly to changing situations.
