Sureserve Compliance Fire, part of the Sureserve Group, is a specialist in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire safety and electrical systems, providing fire and electrical compliance and testing services. This covers a comprehensive range of physical infrastructure and safety considerations required for a building to meet regulatory requirements. Role Overview

To provide installation, maintenance and servicing of fire safety equipment, emergency light and smoke vent systems, in accordance with all current British & European Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day installation, planned and reactive maintenance of contracts
  • Carry out any remedial works as required
  • Install replacement and additional equipment
  • Assist in the training of apprentices as required
  • On occasions may be required to support with servicing and call outs during the day
  • Act at all times in a professional and diligent manner, considering the needs of the client

Skills And Experience

  • A background from the Fire Engineering sector
  • 17th or 18th Edition Qualification
  • Experience and understanding of British & FIRAS Standards is essential
  • Relevant Health & Safety qualification or experience in a social housing or construction environment is desirable
  • Good understanding of the British Standards BS 5839 and BS 5266
  • Driving License as some of our sites are very remote

Working Environment

This is an operational site-based position that involves collaborating closely with the support service team while also engaging with our clients. Expect a dynamic and fast-paced work setting that combines on-site work with ongoing communication with office-based colleagues. The role necessitates proactive interaction and liaison with clients/customers, to ensure effective communication and first-class customer service.
