Sureserve Compliance South, part of the Sureserve Group, delivers heating services within the social housing sector across London & the South East. We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. We are London’s largest, most successful gas contractor, focusing on long-term contracts with our clients to offer our staff job security and progression opportunities.
Role
The role is a key part in the Support Service network for the business where our procurement team liaise with our onsite operatives for ordering and the processing of required materials to enable them to be able to undertake repair, maintenance and installations works efficiently.
- You will have experience in communicating with engineering staff in similar business or perhaps from a supplier perspective.
- Obtaining correct suppliers Part numbers to process Purchase Order for materials
- Excluding the booking of appointments – Taking ownership of the job cycle where materials are required
- Answer inbound queries from engineers ‘on site’ for reactive procurement
- Answer queries from engineers and our contact centre to escalate reactive urgent purchasing where required
- All associated ad-hoc administrative duties
The successful candidate will have
- MS Office, in particular MS Outlook and Excel
- Experience in Plumbing/Heating/Building material purchasing and procurement
- Experience using MS Office, in particular MS Outlook and Excel
- Domestic Gas and plumbing (materials) experience essential. (Commercial Gas and Renewable materials ideal but not essential)
- Experience dealing with Engineers and other operatives
- Able to provide a high level of courteous, professional customer service to colleagues
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible attitude with strong organisational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV ideal but not essential
